Catherine P. White, DVM

Dr. Catherine White is a Louisiana native; homegrown right here in DeRidder. She found her love of veterinary medicine during her sixth grade year of school and was nurtured in her love and care of animals by her grandfather Sam J. Miller and Dr. C. D. Kelty while working toward a B. S. Degree in Dairy Science Production from LSU, she was accepted into LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May of 1993.

Dr. White practiced in a mixed animal clinic until opening her own Paws & Claws Animal Hospital in March of 2000. Dr. White has two children, her son is a graduate of McNeese University and her daughter is currently enrolled at University of Louisiana at Monroe. Dr. White is an active member of First United Methodist Church and loves to cook and read.
